Isn't it about time that we British started to protest at the way the successive governments treat us.....the great British public. Enough is enough now. Each day good hardworking families are forced to worry over their future as our successive governments watch and do absolutely nothing about the consistently rising cost of living and falling standards.

I have never before put pen to paper on this subject, in fact I'm typically British in that I don't make a fuss, but now I feel that I must protest about our lazy, unskilled incompetent government. The country needs a makeover and the politicians are incapable of carrying it out.

All they can do is to conjure up more underhand ways of prizing money out of those that are already struggling, and create more totally unnecessary laws that needlessly punish those who make a genuine mistake during their busy working day.

I sympathise with all the hauliers that are seeing their firms put at risk by ridiculous fuel prices, and they every right to protest, but guys (and gals), don't punish the people on your side.....take the trucks and park them outside your councillors homes and council offices. Every one should now protest in every way they can until the government and local councils see sense and start to spend our money on providing all of us, particularly those in great need with the support and consideration that we deserve.

How can a guy get fined for failing to close the lid on his wheely bin, why should a hardworking rep lose his licence and job because in the course of driving 40,000 miles a year he happened to drive through a speed trap a few miles an hour over the limit. His family suffered, so did his employers, and for what?. The goverment got a poxy £150 or so.

We must do something collectively to force this useless bunch of incompetent, gutless, spineless bureaucrats to move aside and put in strong, caring business minded people that are committed to common decency to make Britain what it used to be. Great!

Alan Sugar and his associates would be a fantastic start !
